Sydney Sixers have resigned Mitchell Starc for the upcoming edition of the Big Bash League.
The Australian speedster last represented the defending champions in 2014-15 and fills the void left by Steve Smith and Josh Hazlewood.
“It’s great to be back in magenta after five seasons away from the Big Bash,” the left-armer said.
“I started at the Sixers at BBL01 and it’s nice to continue that journey at a club I’ve still been around with my wife Alyssa involved with the Sixers.
Starc has picked 20 wickets in 10 outings for Sixers.
The 2020-21 edition of the BBL will begin on December 10.
