Adil Rashid signs new one-year Yorkshire contract

Yorkshire leg-spinner Adil Rashid has extended his future to the club after signing a new white-ball contract that promises to keep him at the Headingley Stadium until 2021.

The 32-year-old was unable to pull on a Yorkshire shirt in 2020, having spent much of the summer for limited-over series against Pakistan, Ireland and Australia.

The England international is set to represent the club in next year’s T20 Blast tournament.

Rashid has played 19 Test matches, 106 ODIs and 49 Twenty20 internationals since making his debut for Yorkshire in 2006.
