Northamptonshire all-rounder James Sales has committed his long-term future to his hometown club after signing a new two-year contract extension that promises to keep him at the County Ground until the 2025 season.
The 19-year-old has played 13 matches in all formats during the 2022 campaign and has registered two half-centuries in seven first-class appearances.
“Wantage Road is like a second home for me, so I’m delighted to extend for another couple of years.” the teenager said.
Sales has represented England at the Under-19 World Cup earlier this year, with 34 runs not out and claiming two wickets as they lost to India in the final.
