Northamptonshire left-handed batsman Emilio Gay has committed himself to the Northants after signing a new deal that will keep him at the Wantage Road until at least the end of the 2022 season.
The 20-year-old has played in four of Northamptonshire’s five red-ball games, hitting his maiden first-class fifty in the County’s Bob Willis Trophy with an unbeaten 77 runs against Glamorgan.
“I’m looking to score big runs and to cement my place as a first team player and most importantly, win games of cricket for Northamptonshire.”
We’re delighted to announce Emilio Gay has signed a contract extension. 💪
