The first of the five ODI matches will commence on Wednesday, April 26 in Rawalpindi, promising to bring even more excitement and fierce competition to the cricketing world.
New Zealand have announced their ODI squad for the upcoming five-match series against Pakistan, and also shared the news of Saqlain Mushtaq’s appointment as an assistant coach.
The Black Caps are scheduled to play five ODIs and five T20Is in Pakistan, with their departure date set for April 9, following the conclusion of their ongoing series against Sri Lanka.
It is worth noting that Saqlain Mushtaq will serve as a head coach in his new role.

Tom Latham has been named as the captain for the upcoming tour, where two new players, Ben Lister and Cole McConchie, will make their debuts.
Latham, who is the regular skipper for Canterbury, will also be a part of the T20 squad that will tour to Pakistan. He has been selected for his impressive performances across all formats in domestic cricket.
McConchie, who has scored 1,140 runs across formats this season, the second highest by any player, has also picked up eight wickets. Meanwhile, Lister was part of the ODI squad for the recently concluded ANZ ODI Series against Sri Lanka but did not get a chance to play.
