Mason Crane commits to Hampshire until 2022

Hampshire leg-spinner Mason Crane has put pen to paper on a new contract at The Ageas Bowl club, which runs until 2022.

The England international has spent his entire county career at The Ageas Bowl since he was 14.

The 23-year-old took 23 wickets across the Bob Willis Trophy and T20 Blast last season.

The England international has made three outings for the national side but not since his debut Test appearance in 2018.

“I’m very happy to commit to a new extension here at Hampshire,” the right-arm leg break bowler said. “I’m looking forward to what the future brings for us as a team and can’t wait to continue to improve and contribute to the club’s success over the coming years.”

Crane picked up 182 wickets in all formats for Hampshire since making his debut in 2015.
