Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya is set to make a triumphant return to the Mumbai Indians in a cash-only deal, bidding farewell to his stint with the Gujarat Titans. Unlike typical player swaps, Mumbai Indians won’t be sending any players in return for this dynamic addition to their squad.
The co-owner of Mumbai Indians, Mrs. Nita Ambani exclaimed, “We are thrilled to welcome Hardik back home! It’s a heartwarming reunion with our Mumbai Indians family! From being a young scouted talent of Mumbai Indians to now being a Team India star, Hardik has come a long way, and we’re excited for what the future holds for him and Mumbai Indians!”

It looks like Mumbai Indians are gearing up for an even more formidable season with the return of their 30-year-old prodigious talent.
Pandya’s cricketing journey comes full circle as he returns to the franchise where it all began for him in 2015. Mumbai Indians acquired the promising talent at his base price of Rs 10 lakh, providing him with the perfect stage to showcase his skills. The association proved to be immensely fruitful, with Pandya contributing to four title-winning campaigns in 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2020.
His success in the Mumbai Indians camp catapulted Pandya onto the national selectors’ radar, leading to his T20I debut in 2016. He quickly became an indispensable part of the Indian national squad. However, ahead of the mega auction in 2022, Mumbai Indians released Pandya, paving the way for his stint with the newly-formed franchise, Gujarat Titans.
