Eoin Morgan, the captain who led England to World Cup victory, has declared his retirement from cricket in all formats.
The 36-year-old announced his retirement from international cricket in June of last year, finishing as England’s top scorer in ODIs, with 6957 runs, and T20Is, with 2458 runs.
Morgan became England’s T20I captain in 2012 and later took over the ODI team in 2014, and he was a vital part of the triumphant 2010 T20 World Cup squad.
