The talented Victorian Will Pucovski has signed a professional T20 contract, joining the Melbourne Stars for the 10th edition of Big Bash League.
The 22-year-old batsman is all set to make his BBL debut.
“I’m grateful to the Stars for giving me this opportunity to be involved in the BBL,” Pucovski said.
“It’s always an exciting competition and I’m looking forward to the opportunity to expand my knowledge with senior players from around Australia and overseas.”
Meanwhile, the Melbourne Stars are not done with the new recruits for the upcoming season with general manager Nick Cummins suggesting an overseas signing could be announced in the coming fortnight.
England’s wicket-keeping batsman Jonny Bairstow has been linked to the franchise, while Pakistan pacer Haris Rauf is also tipped for a return.
