Jack Prestwidge is set to join the Melbourne Renegades from Brisbane Heat.
The 22-year-old took nine wickets in 10 matches for the Heat over the past two seasons.
The Renegades are also on the verge of completing a deal to sign one of Australia’s leading fast-bowlers James Pattinson, who is known for bowling with pace and aggression.
