New Zealand batsman Martin Guptill has signed with the Melbourne Renegades for the 2022 Big Bash League (BBL) season.
The 36-year-old has joined the list of New Zealanders who have been released from their national contracts.
The explosive right-hander will replace Liam Livingstone, who withdrew from the tournament earlier this week.
Guptill will be available for 10 regular-season matches, starting on December 28 against the Sydney Sixers.
